Testing for BPA and More: Which Water is Best?

Let’s face it. Plastic sucks. In addition to putting a choke hold on planet Earth, it’s harmful to an array of animal life, including humans – directly and indirectly. But, when you’re crushing it in a mosh pit at a Slayer concert or fighting for your life on a jiu-jitsu mat, it’s a damn convenient way to quench your thirst. And it sure beats tap water, laced with fluoride and whatever drug Aunt Helga might be flushing down the toilet this week. (Please tell her to use the trash can.)

So, if you’re going to sell out to the plastic water Gods, you might as well make sure it doesn’t have BPA and other chemical cousins floating around in it. To this end, I used state-of-the-art testing methods to seek out the cleanest water bottles. Above are the winners. Choose any one and you can be sure you’re not suckling from the BPA teat.
